Give the guy a break, he is not a car guy and I can't look at them. I guess we can't all be "experts" at holes and brackets that's why we have these forums.
I see what you mean, the green one goes to a line lock then down to the brakes so that is the one I need to look at. The rear line also curls at a angle but the rear brakes work good, when adjusted tight they will lock up. I will try bending them downward and re-bleed and see if it helps. Here...
I think this is the factory set up. Does anyone else have lines that look like this? I would think that as long as the lines are higher then the bleed point and they are pressure bleed it should not make a difference. BTW the picture shows a curl behind the MC it is not a kink.
I will have to check the flex lines, I can't say I have looked at them when pressing the brakes. Would you see one blow up or bulge? With all the people that have looked at this I think it would have been seen but who knows. To add to my original thread, when I would push and hold the pedal then...
I ordered this one.
eBay item number:
141162216343
I can't figure out how to copy the ebay page. It is a direct fit but I had a shop install it so I can not tell you if the wiring connection is correct. They said it is connected but I need to verify as it did not solve my brake problem...
Did the Cutlass 442 get a different master cylinder, with a larger or smaller bore? I have had a brake issue since I got the car. Not enough to not be able to drive it, I do drive it every chance I get. The problem is I can not lock up the front tires. With the original disk/drum set up I think...
Does anyone know of a product that can be used to control brake vacuum. I have a motor with a big enough cam that it produces low vacuum. I wanted to keep my power brakes so I installed a belt driven vacuum pump like that used on diesel trucks, this one is a cardone 64-1029. It is producing...
Does anyone know if you can buy a new good quality brake proportioning valve for 1985 442 factory disk/drum set up. I would like one that is a direct replacement on the frame.
The entire front sub section is from the Trailblazer so the tire track may be wider, plus he may of had to by wheels that fit the Trailblazer bolt pattern.
Well as best as I can see, I can buy a Grand National Baffled tank without the filler neck. Then buy a cutlass filler neck to come out in the correct spot. I will go with a G.N. fuel sender just need to figure out what size fuel pump to use. I see the 255LPH is popular but don't know what HP it...
I know this has been discussed on different levels but here goes. I have a street 10.5 compression 406 dynod at 541hp,530tq. The car is a 85 442. Talking to the FAST tech they tell me the standard EFI will be fine as I don't have plans for NOS or any other add on. The distributor advance is set...
