Nice clean looking 442's!!

Well after a long wait the motor is done and in the car. Now its just a matter of connecting all the connections and vacuum lines and hopefully it will run good and pass emissions. Plus, I was able to confirm all the numbers matched, engine and transmission!

Definitely interested in a full set!

Nice car, I saw some of the pics you posted on the restore. I do agree that a 455 would be more fun, but I cant do that legally here in California, smog laws are a b*tch. My 307 is gonna be a little more hoped up than the stock version and still pass smog, hopefully. That way I can register it...

Yeah, I do plan on bringing it back to the original paint scheme. For now that paint is decent. The interior is still pretty much stock and I plan on keeping it mostly stock aside from a few stereo upgrades Some of my plans are driving it for sure, bought the car not running. Definitely need...

Finally got my motor out of the machine shop and into my friends garage for assembly. After a long 8 months, I got a fully blueprinted 307 for my Hurst/Olds. Can't wait until it goes in then to deal with all the California emissions stuff.

Does anyone have a source in California, preferably in the Northern Bay Area, for a factory Harrison AC compressor rebuilder. I'd like to keep the original compressor in my hurst/olds if possible or buy a new Harrison compressor.

Wow! Great job. Car looks awesome. I liked the custom touch of painting on the stripes and emblems instead buying a stripe kit. Nice work.
