HELP climate control heater cable push nut.

Not sure on the differences/changes to different year head units. Did you fix the issue?

HELP climate control heater cable push nut.

As far as the push nut, you may have to mic the size of the stud or buy an assortment kit and hope there's a size that fits. Best bet would be to take the unit with you to the hardware store and troll the nut and bolt isle and find the size you need. I never checked, but they should have them...

HELP climate control heater cable push nut.

I've linked a video of mine here. I did a minor overhaul of my A/C head unit. At the 18:48 mark I greased up the swing arm parts with SIL-GLYDE. It's a multi purpose grease I use on a lot of things (mostly O-Rings). You could use almost any good grade grease (white lithium, synthetic bearing...

    Blower box leaking water

Make sure to check the drains on the bottom of the case. The drain flap (or door) can get debris packed in behind it. If it clogs completely, the water level can get high enough to leak on to the floor inside. The round hole is a drain for the Evap. The rubber door is the main case drain. As...

Does anyone know where I can find out fusebox removal...

You need a Factory Service Manual. It's chocked full of info and has all the wiring schematics you'll need. Look on ebay, and shop around for the best price. Hutch

    Oil pressure gauge wiring

You really need this guy: A GM service manual has so much info packed in it you'll go to it over and over. The wiring schematics alone are worth the price. Check ebay for used copies. I'm old school and want a dead tree book, but they have them on CD and PDF on USB. There's a company that...

    What do you think happened?

Chances of a "classic" vette crashing into a garage and hitting a 67 Chevy II are slim. IMHO Hutch

    Engine paint burning off

I was at a car show years and years ago. There was a guy with a 69 Firebird (If I remember right). He had a small can of Pontiac Blue paint and a foam brush. He was telling a guy about the heat discoloration that happens around the center exhaust ports. He said they would turn green and then...

    U JOINT STRAPS???'s

It seems odd that just now, 3 years later, they're the wrong size caps. That would have made a racket and a terrible clunk any time it went into gear (I would think). Are you sure the joint isn't moving around IN the cap (like a few or a lot of the needle bearings haven't given up). Hutch
