Can anyone post a picture of the mounting bracket for the antenna wire that sits on the cowl for the windshields with the antenna built-in? I'm thinking about adding that type of windshield to my '86 SS and I'd like to see a picture of the base before I start the install if possible.
I think that if you want to get the cruise control to work without the computer, you have to move some purple (I think that's the color) and ground it somewhere else. Someone will be able to explain it much better than I did. mrapii?
First, host them on a website like www.photobucket.com , in my opinion, PhotoBucket is the best. Then take the link that it provides you after you upload the picture with the " tags.
Nice GP, do you have a close-up of the dashboard, namely near the HVAC Controls and Gauges? I've never seen them up-close before. GPs are even more rare down here then MCs.
mrapii- That is one nice El Camino, looks great.
Well, mine's been in the family since '87, before I was born. So, I've known the car since I've had a memory. But it's sitting in "storage" right now, not sure when we're going to go pick it up to start work on it but I can't wait.
1986 Monte Carlo SS. It's got the nicer non-Euro taillights, the better stripe package, better wheels, and sport mirrors compared to pre-'86 models. That, and I'm a bit biased to my SS.
Haha, you've got a point. A guy in a VW with the wheels painted grey revved the engine when it passed my brother and I when we were in his Chevelle today. Boy, his engine sure sounded intimidating.
I can't say that I'm guilty for the G-body parts shortage since there are like ten...
I know there's hope with alot of kids I know. My 16 year old brother has a 1968 Chevelle Malibu with a 307. My friend Brant who's 17 has a 1970 Chevelle, and Bradley has a 1980 Camaro. I, of course, at 14 have an '86 Monte Carlo SS.
Most of the kids I know all like older cars better then new...

Not affiliated in any way at all whatsoever, just letting the word out on a great site that people here might be interested in. I figured no one would think it was spam since they didn't at the other two forums I posted this at. Don't worry, I hate spammers just as much as anybody and wouldn't...
There's this new site called Motortopia out that's like a CarDomain, just better. It allows you to easily post information about your car along with videos and images of it. You can also challenge other cars and then people vote for whoever they like the best. This site is definately much better...
Yeah, it's the same guy. Those pictures were taken at Page Field General Aviation Airport. You can see the shopping complex in the backround. I wonder how he got out on the tarmac?
