Holy cow, that is a great idea, here I was thinking I had to take the glass out. I should be able to knock this out now. I remember adjusting the stop on my other car but I never thought to remove it to lower the window itself. My 87 442 needs the outer sweeps replaced badly. It's the next...
I just looked and Gbodyparts.com has them:

I'm pretty sure that Mikes Montes has them too but I'm not sure if they are 100% correct.
A year or so ago when I got my inner sweeps I picked them up from an outfit that sold them on Ebay. I'm...
I have rally gauges in my 442 and as usual my new project car its oil pressure sensor is flaky. I know it needs to be replaced and the little tube that leads up to it need to be cleaned out.
I have used a couple different ones over the years. The last one I last used was a Standard PS154...
Good news. Now that I took both of my headlight assemblies out I was able to free up all of the adjusters. The key to getting them working was knowing how to take them part and soaking the adjusters in penetrating oil for about an hour and a gentle but firm touch.
Getting them apart steps...
When I get the ones on my car off, I will definitely give the oil soaking bit a try when I get it separated from the backing plate. Thanks for the tip.

The adjusters on the car, are still on there whole, but the vertical...
Ok, so I went to adjust the headlights on my recent 87 442 project and of course the vertical adjusters are stuck in place badly. I had some penetrating oil on the threads for a while but still no go. Of course on the 87s they have the Euro style sealed headlights and the adjusters are...
Is everything the same on that? Do the trans lines use the same fittings, same cap, hoses etc.? Some folks on other forums say Modine isn't around any more. I can use that as a reference in any case. It also looks like on that radiator that the transmission line is below the lower radiator...
I was running E3 (E3.56) spark plugs in my 87 442 that was smashed by a drunk driver. They seemed to work pretty well. I just put ACDelco RAPIDFIRE Performance Platinum Spark Plugs 19308030 in my new replacement 87 442. They seem to work great. I have never had any issues with ACDelco plugs...
I need to replace the radiator in my 87 Cutlass 442. Its leaking from the drain plug area and where it was struck by a bird causing a small leak (poor little guy). I would like to put in a good 2 core aluminum radiator as a replacement for the factory radiator. When I had to do this in the past...
