lol this concerns me, I bought all new bushings and ball joints for when the air ride/drop spindles go in. not entirely looking forward to it, but I've done enough bushings in my time hopefully it goes well.
Ever think of converting the speedo gears so the km/hr cluster is accurate as MPH, so you have a true 140 mph speedo? Should be able to find a drive/driven gear combo that gives you the 1.6 ratio, and then just have an overlay sticker made up to cover the small MPH numbers... you know what I mean?
Wow I didn't have any of those issues with the panel getting away from me. I was just using a little 110V buzz box from Lincoln Electric with a .030 flux core wire. I kept blowing holes with .035, the .030 was perfect. And just on 'B' setting with a feed speed of around 2.

tasty marshmallow right there!! I didn't hate the old wheels but they are too wide for a spoked wheel. I really dig the overall look of the car. Also a great story behind the mustang, that's what cars are all about right there!

by chance, does your parts car have an intact reverse light/license plate garnish (chrome surround), as well as the front left chrome/turn signal rubstrip on the fender??
