This Is A street car. 650hp 650ft lbs 496 BBC.at what point do I need a front and mid plate. Or can I just install poly bushing motor and trans mounts....thanks.

What is a good ring gap factor for:
496 BBC
Probe forged pistons
Hastings moly rings
Pump/race gas
Hastings has on their site minimum of .0035xbore
And on another part of their site
They have street cars .0065xbore
And drag fuel .0075
And turbo nitrous etc for .008
So confusing
So your saying its not worth putting a 8.5 in over the wimpy 7.5. Don't feel like doing the 9" and changing everything. And 8.5 from a gn is rare to find
