9" or 8.8. People want way too much for the 8.5's.

Posi 8.5" rears can still be had for $800-1000. From what I've seen guys are putting around that much into the 8.8 and 9".....plus a whole lot of time. It all depends on your ability and desire to take on a project like that.....but the 8.5" still seems like the best overall value.

Mostly street driven. Once and awhile racing. Should be 600-650 hp. Th350 3000 stall

7.5 rear...600-650hp :rofl: no way.

8.5 is a straight bolt it as you know. Easy install for a one time done deal. Put some c-clip eliminators welded tubes and a good aluminum cover.

People who receive full benefits from a 9" are drag racers. Because of they can easily swap out ratios within minutes. No c-clips and a strong construction. Need custom eyes and brackets.

8.8....why? Lol imo its just as work intensive as a 9".

So that being said either a 9 inch if your a serious street outlaw, or 8.5 for a weekend warrior.
