I installed a Holley Super Sniper (I wanted the extra inputs to monitor oil and fuel psi) on my car 2 years ago and I love it! I have installed about a dozen of these systems on customers rides. The most radical was a 455 Pontiac, roller cam, aluminum heads 600+HP.

The headers are a set of Headman Headers I bought years ago from Fireball Coatings that was old stock and they coated them for me. I don't think the exact ones are available now. But they fit the G-Body's with a manual transmission.

Here are some pics of the shifter set up and the final install. There was plenty of clearance for the trans tunnel, no cutting needed there. I just had to move the original shifter boot mount and hole back about 2” to clear the body of the shifter. Test drive was AWESOME! I could not be happier...

I'll take some more pics when we get the trans mounted back up. Currently waiting for a replacement slave cyl. Hopefully it'll be in Friday. I haven't driven it yet to know how it feels. Any reviews I've seen are very promising!

I was referring to the clutch release bearing, mechanical linkage. Not shifter linkage. ;)

I did it years ago on a 1986 Monte Carlo. Bassett Stock Car Wheels 15"x8" 275/60/15 BFG TA's all around. The car had 2" drop spindles, no inner fenders. They'd rub on the frame if you turned too sharp. The car looked very cool!

What Rktpwrd said!!! If the drive shaft or U-joint breaks it'll take the exhaust right off and the floor with it. Get a loop and a better shaft if you have any power.
