Rockatansky's Bold, Brash and Blocky 1978 Malibu Build

Hey Guys, Guess my build thread isn't locked up. YAY. Well I am picking things back up here, as soon as we thaw out here in the great white north. Lots to do. Drove the car about twice last season, couldn't get the carb (Quick fuel 600 Slayer) dialled in right. My engine builder, Graham...

AWOL Member returning to the flock

Hey Gents, Apologies for going AWOL for the last 18 months, been dealing with some major heavy stuff, in fact the last two years have been extremely hard and challenging for myself and my family. Haven't really had time to indulge in anything fun or for me, the car has literally rotted in the...

Any thoughts or experience with Gear Vendors Overdrives?

Any of you fine gentlemen have any experiences with Gear Vendors Overdrives? http://www.gearvendors.com/hrgm3s.html Looks like a very pricey way to get better fuel economy. Seems to me though that it would be about the same cost to rebuilt and beef up a 4 speed to install. Any thoughts or...

    Saggy Bottom! Help Needed

So I guess I am going to actually drive the car a bit as I doubt I have put more than 200 KMS on the car since she was built. I will daily drive for a week and see whats doing.. after that will re-evaluate. Hate to say some sacrilegious, but if the car is still a gasser what do y'all think of...

Anyone Feel Like Running a Mechanical Fan?

Okay, so not trying to hijack this thread, but wow that video and subsequent discussion blew what little of my mind is left. Now I am all fired up to switch out to electric.. I have fully drank this Kool Aid. But before I run off in all directions to get this done, what are the recommends for...

    Mould neutralizing/removal?

Might want to try a steam cleaner or vacuum steamer as well. That combined with the recipe Steve suggested I would think should do the trick. Don't forget to crack all the windows if you go that route as well as waiting for a warm day to dry everything out nicely.

2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Reveal

If I had a $100k to spend on a car, Dodge wouldn't even be within a country mile of the list. You are right on the money with things being so expensive, such an entry barrier to younger folks who are interested in cars. No wonder millennials don't drive, speaking as a borderline millennial myself.

    Saggy Bottom! Help Needed

Steve, Thanks for the input, I hope you are well. Appreciate the perspective, I think you may be right, perhaps it is the front that is off and not the rear, meaning the front is sitting too high. I just didnt expect a 1" drop to look like that from stock ride height.. almost seems as though...

    Saggy Bottom! Help Needed

Yeah I thought that as well initially, but unless they are defective, they are brand new and typically Mark Savitske doesn't F around when he puts together his packages.. Not entirely convinced the springs defective but I do have an email into Mark.

    Saggy Bottom! Help Needed

Gents, Been a long time since I have been on the forum. Had some things comes up that needed dealing with that unfortunately precluded anything to do with cars and or hobbies. :-( The good news though is that with all that crud behind me I can now focus on finishing my car for the season. When...
