Lots of 9s down here in TX. I just got one from the scrap yard for weight value and watched another one in a Lincoln (disc brakes) go across the scales when someone was clearing a field full of cars out. I'd glad to ship you one if you change your mind.
I think you choke thermostat is bad. It's likely opening too quickly and you are off the mid step of the cam. Run it 5 mins shut it off. Pop the lid. Open the throttle slightly and close the choke. See if it restarts
I always use them if possible, so yes. IMO it's worth it. In fact I just paid Brass works 1000 to redo the radiator in my 69 Cougar because I didn't want some cheapie repop or an aftermarket aluminum. So take it for what it's worth. Copper/Brass is kick *ss
No one drives my stuff. Never. If I'm dying, and it's die in the street or let someone drive me to the hospital in my car. Order flowers and dig a big hole cuz you are burying me in that b**ch.
I like motors. I rarely use manuals due to my experience level, but I have a full set of motors from the 30s to the 70s on my shelf next to my factory stuff. I think it's worth buying
If it sits for long enough you could drain all the fluid above the centerline out of the converter, plus all the passages not protected by a check ball. That's a lot of fluid. So let's say 3-4 qts at the low end. When you fill an empty trans you are supposed to manually shift it through all the...

I would only run a clutch fan from a truck. There is a reason GM used them on trucks but cars got electrics. They work, well.
If I were to run an LS that is.
There is nothing inherently wrong with a V6. Tune it up and get it running right and it will treat you just fine. Ignore the people saying pull it and swap it for something bigger. I've had plenty of V6 drivers from that era, I was always happy with them. The one thing I would say is get a 200...
So I just noticed this. You have a GP but that is clearly a Buick emblem on the trim in the photo. Something is going on here. Maybe your top has been replaced in the past. My 78 GP doesn't have trim at all, just a piece of bulb seal bonded to the front edge.
This has nothing to do with your trans kickdown. I would bet money this is an ignition problem. You said your plugs are fouled. They are garbage. Either clean them or replace them. Are you sure you have the firing order right? Double check that. Then check the cap and rotor. Clean up the...
