I don’t have the frame notched. I installed a 3/8” spacer and it’s perfectly centered between the frame and the wheel lip.

    The Black Ghost

This isn’t gbody or even GM related but I thought I’d share this really cool documentary I watched yesterday about a street racing legend called the “The Black Ghost”. It’s a very well done production, great family and story. Lot of history with this car.

These are absolutely the best gasket you can get. I install the gasket dry on my 9” and have had absolutely zero leaks. I won’t use anything else.

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Sedan LS Turbo Build

at 15-17 psi I'd guess mid 10's at 135+ spinning. Kinda jealous you get to race year round :sneaky:

What did you buy for your G body today? [2019]

I don’t think you could go wrong with either color. I went with the silver (which is more gray than silver) because I already had the black/machined Weld V-series for my trips to the track.

Thanks. Pretty versatile wheel. Probably looks good on a lot of vehicles. Did AR use the pic recently or a while ago?

The car has the original F-41 450lb front springs, stock spindles and the rear has the Moroso “Trick” springs. I unfortunately just have a lot of weight up front which makes it sit a little lower. The rear might be about 1” lower than stock but I never measured the difference between stock and...

    Fastest street legal car

Very Impressive to say the least.d Doesn’t even sound like he’s wide open throttle until about 210mph I read It’s a 366” LS style motor with a flat planed crank they spin to 8800. Nelson Racing Engines built the motor. 1750hp on e85 and 1350 on pump gas. This thing is a rocket!!!

BUILD THREAD Street/Strip Cutlass Build: Race it, break it, fix it, repeat.

Sounds like you’re doing it right by taking care of existing debt instead of creating more. Your car looks great and headed in a great direction with upgrades. Whenever you start making changes, try to overbuild everything if possible. You’ll thank yourself later.
