Well after a year away.....(bent rod) the motor is back in and ready for the dyno. I have not finalized the trans situation yet so here is hoping it holds together for now !

Time for an update. Only a few item left to do on the supercharger install. Finish up the intercooler lines and mount the pump. The trans is moving along. I decided the est option for me was to build it myself. Sonnax parts sure a expensive. Billet shafts, and the addition of 5 pinion planets...

Take it to the track once or twice a year

The trans going in has spent the last year behind a 700+ rwhp 57 chevy with zero issues, i think it will hold up.

Trans will be w stage 4 4L60, motor is a LQ4 with milled heads and a decent cam.

Its the same motor since I did the swap. I will be sticking with the stock pulleys for now.

Well its been a while since I updated this. This will be an interesting winter. I have made the move to forced induction. The trans will also be upgraded over the winter. I fore see this car being an absolute blast to drive .

I will get back to you on the maker of the bulb housing as well as the actual bulb. Throw in some pics too

Well its winter time again, time for more upgrades. Along with the Dakota Digital dash I also installed LED headlights. The bulb housings are the same style as the original. They ae made for H$ bulbs but I opted for the LED bulbs. The difference is amazing.

Not sure what the front suspension is as it was this way when I bought the car. The rear has 1.5" lower springs.

I was fortunate enough to get a hold of a 8.5 posi this weekend. Needed to be cleaned up but it is coming along very nicely. It has a 3.73 gear already installed. I will be listing the 7.5 posi with the 3.73 if anyone should be interested.
