Just checked again the are good, for some reason once it's connected it lose power but when disconnected it gains power

I just tried to run the brown wire to the taillight without using the harness and they all came on. Do you know what the other wires in the harness are for? Or should I just run the brown wire without the harness? The light bulbs seems to be good

Tail light an tag lights stopped working but headlights work. When I disconnect the wiring harness from inside the trunk (coming from taillight) the brown wire has power but when I connect the harness it loses all power. Not sure on the next steps to try. Any advice appreciated.- 84 Monte Carlo ss

I have a rebuilt 700r4 transmission in my Monte Carlo ss. The problem I'm having is that it's shifting way too early. I want to know besides the TV cable what is a way to get it to shift properly? Any info/suggestions to try?

I purchased the carb new also so it should still be stock as far as the squirters etc..

I changed out the hose that connected to the fuel pump because it was split a little bit I also checked the rest of the hose connections but they were fine. When checking the accelerator pump what specifically am I looking for?

I have a 400pontiac with Holley 600 carb, Holley red fuel pump and a fuel regulator. The problem I'm having is that when I'm taking off from a stop it hesitate an I'm trying to see why. Do I need to go a size up on the carb, is it getting too much/not enough gas or.... Any thoughts or tips?

I checked the timing and it’s a couple of degrees before tdc an when I touched the fuel lines neither of them was hot.

The fuel line is kind of close to the heater hose/valve cover gasket

When I cold start the car it cranks almost instantly with no problem, the carburetor is 600 holly.

I have a pontiac 400 with manifolds an mini starter with heat shield wrap. When the car temp reaches between 190°- it only turn over but won’t start. I’m not too sure what else to try any suggestions?

Is it a such thing as a cam made specifically for manual transmissions?

Last time I checked it was about 10 not sure what it's at now. Could this prevent the carburetor from getting adjusted properly.

I have a Pontiac 400 with 600 Holley carb; Holley red electric fuel pump; nitrous xpress regulator with gauge; and a as far as I know stock 700r4 torque converter. The problem I am having is that the brakes are stiff even when the car is running also I was told that the carb couldn't be adjusted...

The exhaust shop did what they could to make it fit.Its not pretty but it works lol

I will install the power wire. I'm not to sure what to look for when checking the vacuum lines.

The lock up solenoid isn't connected.
