Anyone running American Racing Headers exhaust (ARH)?

Any details on where you got those? Any more available? heh.. I was hoping to find some cheap knock off stuff, but haven't found any of the larger diameter setups even close to reasonably priced. Thanks! Chad

Anyone running American Racing Headers exhaust (ARH)?

It sure looks like some nice stuff. I was really hoping someone would know of some cheap knock offs in that size that I could throw on there. Laying out that kind of cash would marry me to the 23 degree heads I have now. I'd kind of like to see what I can get out of the new setup with some...

Anyone running American Racing Headers exhaust (ARH)?

I'm in the same boat...I want the larger stuff, but I'm not seeing much advertised for my setup. Does anyone know if 4th gen LT1 F-body headers fit a G-body? I have a set sitting in storage that I could try mocking up. I'm already ordering new pistons to lower the compression a little. I'm...

Anyone running American Racing Headers exhaust (ARH)?

The old setup in an F-body made 740rwhp with a mild cam, 3" single exhaust after the y pipe, and 14lbs of boost on a F1 Procharger. I'm changing things up a little with a larger cam, larger exhaust, more rpms, and 20lbs+ with a F1A-94 Procharger. The G-body has way more room under the hood...

Anyone running American Racing Headers exhaust (ARH)?

Anyone running American Racing Headers stuff? I noticed they have some stepped 1 7/8" to 2" headers with 3.5" collectors for a SBC in a G-body. It claims they will work with straight or angle plug heads, with or without AC and manual or automatic transmissions. The price is steep at $2300...

    Weld-in tubular k-member

I was really interested until I read on the website it requires a motor/mid plate for engine mounting. Anyone know how much fab work that requires? I'm not sure what you would tie it to in that area. Would you need some type of frame bracing to attach to, or would you need to run a plate...

Poly Body Mount Bushings - 78 Regal

I've always been a little confused as to whether my 78 counted as an a or g body car. Some places say G...others say A. The Energy Suspension 3.4141G kit is actually the one I was looking at buying. Glad to hear it worked on your 81. Did you buy new bolts or reuse your old ones? Thanks! Chad

Poly Body Mount Bushings - 78 Regal

I'm looking for a polyurethane body mount bushing kit for my 78 Buick Regal. All of the kits I've found so far are for the 82-87 model year cars. Does anyone what my options are? Will I need to tear the car down, measure, and order them individually? Thanks! Chad

Anyone running 3.5" or 4" exhaust?

Very nice! You've got everything tucked in and fitting great! From the video, it looks like the bottom of the 4.5" pipes are about even with the rear sway bar. I wasn't expecting to have that much room under there. Thanks! Chad

Anyone running 3.5" or 4" exhaust?

I've got a 78 Buick Regal and was wondering if anyone has real world experience running dual 3.5" or 4" exhaust. Is there enough room under the car to clear that size of pipe at the stock ride height? I found one company advertising 4" oval piping, but they never responded to my messages...

78 Regal - Header And Exhaust Fitment

Long Winded Info: I was hoping you guys might have some first hand info on header and exhaust fitment for my 78 Regal. The car currently has a gen 2 LT1 motor, TH350 column shifted transmission, a\c box, 1 5/8" long tube headers, and 2.5" dual exhaust. I'm looking to step things up and...

MONTE CARLO Column Shift with 4L80E

These pictures are very helpful! I picked up a 4l80e the other day and I'm still researching what all I need to run it. It will be a while before I can start mocking everything up. Can anyone tell me why the shift lever brackets end up flipped upside down? Do they interfere with the exhaust...

    8.8 swap info needed

I found a picture from the track that day. I ended up buying a pair of aluminum wheels off an S10 pickup for $20. They are 15" x 7" in the back with some 26" x 10.5" ET Streets that I had sitting around. I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but I've been told with the stock rear end that...

    8.8 swap info needed

I've been pretty busy at school so I've only made three passes at the drag strip so far. To date it has performed flawlessly just cruising around. It ran a best of 8.60 in the 1/8th mile with a 2.0 sixty foot. I don't know if it was the track, my car, or the tires, but I cut a 2.00 sixty foot...

It's been so long I don't remember. I ended up measuring the ends and looking through a list of part numbers with sizes that I downloaded off the internet. There are also several different sizes of the Ford pinion flange, so you really need to measure what you have first. I tried doing...

    lt1 ???

I did the same thing that dyrt did. I think the hardware store calls those things "menders". I used parts of my old factory Buick hose, parts of an old factory LT1 hose, and part of a new hose off of an unknown vehicle. I got the parts store guy to let me walk the isle until I found something...

    lt1 ???

I'm poor so I used the larger hose and one of these radiator hose adapter things from Summit for $6. It's been on there for 2-3 years now with no leaks so far. heh.. Good luck! Chad

I ordered it straight from baseline. I bought their whole kit with adjustable upper and lower control arms. Chad

So far I haven't had any problems at all. I've put a few hundred miles on it just cruising around town. I haven't really had time lately to do much else. Hopefully I'll get to messing with it again soon. Chad

I didn't take the time to get any good pictures. I did snap one real quick after I got the rear end in the car. Chad
