Hello I have a prob, there's a guy selling a rebuilt 305 with lt1 heads and a 200r4 transmission, he doesn't know the years corvette they came off of and I was hoping there's away to find out, and any other ?'s u can think of to ask this guy would help also. Thanks all!!

ok i replaced my transmission pan gasket and decided to do the filter also,but my transmission still has a drip and i def know its comin from the front, cant figure out what it is, buddy says input shaft but i wanted to get a second opinion or some suggestions before a concurred, thanks!!!

very true, before i purchased my monte it sat for over a year...i will have to get my hands dirty and actually get under there and check it out

Ok next question, where do you think it would be comin from if there was dripping from the front of the pan, would it be most likely the transmission pan

Ok quick diagnosis, if its leakin from the speedo housing will it cause my speedo needle to be a little jumpy?? Because mine is...

but if mine is leakin from where the arrow is what is the seal?? Tailshaft??

i think i have a transmission leak coming from the arrow in the pic, does anyone know what this is called, i think its a tailshaft seal but not 100% sure, any help would be great!!

anyone have any experience with a flowmaster w/ a turndown and no cat, my cat is shot and i got the car with basically no exhaust after the cat, was thinkin of gettin rid of the cat and installin a flow, good idea??(there are no emissions test here in illinois)

thanks guys for all the help, i pulled a front out of an el camino and a rear from a cutty with some guitar wire and a little ingenuity, came out flawless, than i got some sealant from autozone, 45 for both windows and 15 bucks for sealant and im ridin clean again!!! thanks for the quick...

will the back window of the cutty be the same??

i need to replace my front and rear window on my 84 monte, i was at the yard and found an 86 cutlass supreme with good windows...does anyone know if they will fit, oh the cutty was a four door if it matters...thanks

oh by the way i had an mkIII but i sold her and i regret it to this day, man i loved the targa top!!
