Hey all, just looking to see if anyone has any innovative or creative ideas on where they mounted their remote ignition coils for msd boxes. Post pics if possible please 🙏
Manifold ports all used. Heater feed, temp sensor and added tstat riser for elec fan sender. Heater nipple I was referring to is heater return in radiator
I wish my heater port was threaded…just hose nipple. I just assumed water flowing erodes anything it might expedite deterioration of anode. Either way I feel better with it in there
I put mine in place of drain. On Becool radiator it is on pass side bottom of tank. Wondering if it will hinder flow on outlet or deteriorate faster because it is in direct flow? 🤔
Hmm you are correct, Griffin was telling me this style would fit factory hold downs as opposed to their performance fit. Glad you pointed this out. Kind of a deal breaker for me already
This particular version is supposed to have actual crimped style at tanks to use factory insulators. Not have flat welds, the have a cheaper version that has that fabricated look
Thanks for input, I am trying to see how radiator fitment is with fan. Looks like fan attaches direct to top and bottom of radiator. Curious if there is interference with hold down, core or pwr steering pump
Hey all. Has anyone ever installed on of these exact fit radiator/fan combo units from griffin? Stock style tanks and all. Wondering how well it fits and works. Pics would be great too...
I asked a very similar question to both radiator companies and transmission companies when I put 700r4 in place of 200c because I understood the in/out at trans swapped. Everyone told me it shouldn't matter whether it goes to top or bottom at the radiator and or aux cooler, it will cool either...
curious to ask how much an okay set of ssII style rims 14” go for nowadays? I was looking for 15” ones but found a set of 14” pretty local. wondering what is average price. pic below of rims
been a long time since I did this but I have factory console but had to do away with linkage bc I put a 700r4 in. I used the factory neutral safety switch and wired it to two micro switches I mounted on the shifter. I imagine if there is an application for neutral safety switch for your column...
I was just looking back at my pics of swap. mounts look like they are in the same place as yours are. I did have to buy a g-force crossmember for 700r4, from orginal setup I had to shorten driveshaft since 700 is longer than 200c setup. I used flowtech longtube headers on mine with no...
I remember having issue with ignition tone on my first cutlass. I attached schematic for cutlass convenience center as well as fusebox breakdown. Hope this helps ya
