    TH350/T-5 speedo gears (Help!)-

I'm swapping in the rear gears from an '86 Camaro into my '78 Impala tonight (the Camaro gets scrapped tomorrow). I was wondering, would the speedo gear from the Camaro's T-5 work in my TH350? And if it did fit, would I get a correct reading? The wheels/tires on the Impala right now are the...

Dumb question- '78 305 Valve stem seals?

Would I use the second style for intake and exhaust (the white ones)? It labels them as intake for the first one (blue) and exhaust for the second (white) on their website. I'll try searching out a decent engine shop. Anyone else have other suggestions?

Dumb question- '78 305 Valve stem seals?

I've established now that the motor in my '78 Impala, the original 305, needs valve stem seals. Bad. Problem is, I don't know what I should get. Are there several different styles of valve stem seals for SBCs or is there just a one-size-fits-all? It's a totally unmolested stock 305 2bbl, so I...

Dumb question- Do I need special lugnuts for GTA wheels?

Yes, I'm using standard acorn nuts, like those pictured. Where should I get a set of this other style? I have a small issue that I have two different diameter lug studs on the car- the original '78 ones in back, and some slightly bigger ones for the 3rd gen F-body performance 12" front rotors I...

Dumb question- Do I need special lugnuts for GTA wheels?

The studs aren't the issue, really. The wheels come close to the edge of being outside, but that still doesn't really change the fact that the lugnuts I have seem to fit funky.

Dumb question- Do I need special lugnuts for GTA wheels?

I'm putting a set of Firebird GTA mesh aluminum wheels on my '78 Impala... and for whatever reason, the stock lugnuts just don't look right on there. The hex part has actually screwed partially inside of the dished area of the lug hole on the wheel, and it just sort of looks like I have too...

    Harro thar. ('78 Impala)

Yeah, I've honestly always loved these cars too, it just came to me at the wrong time it seems. I should change that and mention it somewhere under my name, but I'm from the Detroit area. :D

    Harro thar. ('78 Impala)

Joined up to find some parts for my Impala, some help, and information. Apparently any GM B-body websites (at least anything with information/hits) are focused entirely towards '91-'96 cars, and while I can use a lot of suspension parts from them, much else of my car is more closely related to...
