    If I drop my leaking metric 200 (non overdrivwe A3) and bolt in a turbo 350 A3, will my driveshaft be the correct length or will I need to have it shortened? Is my 1985 Grand Prix going to have a 26 or 28 spline driveshaft? Other? Thanks.

    I picked up a 1985 Grand Prix Brougham for my winter car (corporate 305, A3, 2.29 rear end, brown (oxidized purple?) exterior paint with the red velour interior, minimal rust since we don't salt the roads up here.     Turn Signal and High Beams Gone

    Agree with Paully. Your existing ground has enough current carrying capacity to operate the turnsignals, but same is overwhelmed trying to run the headlights. I just signed up here for similar reasons in my 1985 Arrowhead GP.
