Motor Matt, I put on a weekly car show every Wed. night from 5:30-8:30 in Isanti, MN. Check out our facebook page Isanti Weekly Car Show. It's a great bunch of guys and gals!
I could if I had them out. I drive the car often and didn't want to take it apart to measure, then put it back together so I could drive it untill my gauges showed up and then take it back apart. Just figured it would save time and labor, and someone on here most likely has done it already.
I want to upgrade my factory gauges in my 1979 Grand Prix. What size are the factory ones? Speedo 4 inch or 5 inch? How about the fuel, volts, temp and oil ones? Thanks G-Body Freeks!
I know the factory produced about 200 some cars with the 4 speed but mine is not one of them. I found a complete pedal to fork kit for about $360.00 but need some other info. The kit does not come with instructions, which sucks bad. Where do I punch the hole through the fire wall for the pedal...
Back to the drawing board. 455 plan didn't pan out so now I'm looking into a 454 plan. What motor mounts do I need and will I have to remove the heater/ac box off the fire wall? What trans will fit without modifieing the tunnel? Do they make headers to fit? So many quetions! Thanks for any help!
I want to swap out my 301 for a Pontiac 455. What motor mounts do I need and do I have to remove the heater/ac box on the fire wall? Anything else I have to change other than the trans? Thanks!
Not sure where you live, but where I live it's not illegal to pitch the canister. Canisters have built in vents on them. When they fill and the car is not running they vent out. In most cases they cause the car to run poorly abd worsen milage because they are pluged and never have been...
Yes, your out a luck on that one. Custom only and that of course comes with a hefty price! This is one of the reasons I'm pulling out my 301 for something else. You can't even get an aftermarket intake for 301s.
What are my options if I have a Pontiac 400 in my 1979 GP for headers? Does any one make them or have any of you done this kind of set up? Any help would be great! Thanks!
