Mad dog sold the business. The new owners will get you in contact with Mark and he will still make the headers for you. Same headers as they were, just him making them without the business name.

I did also use the aluminum body mounts from JT Raceshop. I haven’t driven the car yet so I don’t know how harsh they’ll be…

I can confirm, they do pop up on other body styles too. Just have to be sure of the part numbers. These are the original mounts from my ‘80 Grand Lemans with a 301.

Ok, just to be clear, I’m only looking for 1980 Lemans or 1980 Grand Am tail lights. I do not need Grand Lemans tail lights. I already have a very nice set of 1979 non-Grand Lemans tail lights. I’ll use those until I can find the 1980 light that I’m looking for. The lights in this picture...

I mentioned that the color was a mistake, but the more that I see it, the more that I like it. I was hoping that would be the case. I was really close to having it re-sprayed. I’ll have to see it more out in the sun, but for now I’m happy that I didn’t spend the extra money to go darker.

The bumper brackets are painted and the mounting hardware is all cleaned up too. So, tonight I bolted up the aluminum rear crash bar and positioned the bumper cover and tail lights in place. Everything needs to be adjusted and tightened up, but doesn’t look too bad. I’m still hoping to get a...

New light weight bumper brackets. Gotta paint them before the crash bars and bumper covers can go on. Probably a weekend project…

It made it back home! Well, everything but the front bumper. Didn’t have quite enough room to load it without potential damage. I didn’t want to risk it. Now the long process of assembly begins…

I’d be interested in seeing more of what you’re working on and what you’ve found for new moldings. I’ll be reassembling my Lemans over the next couple months, so it could be helpful. My car has been apart so long that I’m expecting that I’ll have some trouble.
