Am I missing something here?? The exhaust hangs from the frame which the body is bolted to so the exhaust will raise and lower with the body/frame. How are your springs making the exhaust hit the body???

I found that my rub was on the back side of the lower control arm. I applied pressure a few times with a hammer on the control arm lower edge to roll it just a bit. Installed the 235/70 and have no rub!!!!

I have heard that rumor before. Never have heard it from any near reliable GM or historical source. Mine has A name and number ( Rene - 111). I think it is more believeable that this may have been some sort of inspection identifier or something( kinda like your fruit of the looms!!).

Dash must come out. I was able to leave radio and control head hooked up and twist myself around to get them,but everything else was loose. If you really have no idea,I recommend you get a manual and 6-8 hours.
