01' S10 Steering box - Will it work?

I understand that I possibly will need to get adapters for the stock G-body fittings to work with the S10 steering box, and use the original pitman arm, but will it bolt up? On the ZQ8 optioned S10 pick ups they had 12.1 ratio steering boxes and I picked one up at the local junkyard a couple months ago to put in my S10, but since I'm getting a Malibu, will it work?

I know that the 82-93 S-10 box will bolt up, but I'm not 100% sure about the newer body style truck box. I think they will bolt on, but wouldn't bet money on it. If it's cheap enough to experiment, it might be worth it. But I'd hesitate to make a major investment.
