It would be nice if AR carried headers for a 455 in a Gbody.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they haven't done so yet. I assume it's because they don't want to compete with the Dick Miller headers in a already small market.

I'd say Nick knows the market for them. He used to work for Kook's which is where Dick Miller got the jig's from for the headers. Don't quote me on this stuff, my memory isn't the best at times LOL

Hey Rocket,I'd like to say good luck with your project it seems pretty badass. I deal with Nick from ARH on a daily basis (his shop is local and buys from us) He is a really great guy and everyone at the shop knows what their doing. Trust me when I say this, I think ARH is probably the best on the field right now. Nothing but good feedback from all of my customers I sent down to him. Best of luck to you champ!

Nick is my Father and if there is one thing I can tell you about him is that he tries his best to never let a customer down as we all do here at ARH. Our customer service is second to none and is one of the reasons why we have the amazing reputation that we do today.

P.S. As a fellow G-Body nut, and someone thats getting ready to drop a 455 BBO in my '86 as well. I can say with complete confidence that 455 swap Headers are in the near future!! Stay Tuned!

A huge thumbs up for you guys for being one of the VERY few places out there who actually strive to make a quality product and actually give a sh*t about their customers too.

When I purchased my ARH last year, I was totally shocked to find out they wouldn't fit. After talking to your dad I found out the order was listed as being for an earlier A-body instead of for my G-body. It was an honest mistake and one that I think was actually the fault of the place I ordered them through. Instead of giving me a load of BS and/or some fake apology, he said he's get my headers done right away ( which he did ) and also knocked off $200 for my troubles. There aren't alot of places out ther today that would do that.

Compare that experience to the one I had with Century Performance where I purchased some Sanderson ( Sandersuck )shorty headers. These 'high quality' headers were riddled with massive flaws and after I've had enough and just wanted my money back after 3 bad sets in a row, I was forced to pay a 20% restocking fee to Century Performance even though I sent them back to Sandersuck directly, CP misrepresented the product AND the quality was total garbage ( holes in all the headers due to poor welding ).

UPS dropped off the correct headers to me yesterday and I want to give a big thanks to Nick @ ARH for some of the best customer service i've ever seen.

Finally got around to installing the headers yesterday. The passenger side slid into place no problems at all. A little tight but no big deal. The passenger side I had a bit of trouble with starter clearance but I did expect it since it's the Powermaster 9610 i'm using and not the 9510 that they were designed around. Other then the starter, they bolted up without an issue. Some did mention having to clearance the bellhousing but It wasn't a problem in my case. I'm running an Ultra-Bell so that may have been why.

Good to hear. Maybe next time you'll think twice about complaining about them on other forums.
