is 120 amp possible to upgrade to i think i get 120amp 1 wire alternator for 100 something bucks. not sure what stock is probably 80 amps but 120 shouldnt do any harm would it?

Sounds about right. You can get I think a 120 amp unit from JEGS and it is made for a 2 battery car, 16 volt alt...??????

I seen it yesterday but my medication has my memory shot......I think it was around $200.

Another option that I use is an alternator from SVA.

To me total output is not where you should be looking, it's output at idle.

My alternatorr from SVA puts out 100 amps at IDLE.

I can load the car with every electronic load the car has and the needle won't budge.

I have one in my race car also, the battery charger stays on the trailer now.

They do cost a little more but you get what you pay for!
