14x8 wheels

Any suggestions on tire size for 14x8 wheels with 4.5"backspace.

i think 245/60 is about the biggest youll find

thanks I what to keep the 14" size but with the largest diameter. would a 235 or 225 70 series tire look ok with 8" wide rim.

225/70 should look fine, may stretch out just a bit. doubt youll find a 235/70

I would try a 215/70/14 or a 225/70/14. I have had both on a 14X7 rim.

235/60-14s on the back of mine. 14X8 rims.

Depending on desired gearing and look either 225/70/14 or 245/60/14. They will generally provide the best fit the look with the wide 14x8 IMO. But others obviously work and look fine.
