I need some help.. I am about to buy a set of Progressive "Center line" lookalikes rims. The ones that are solid with rivets around them. The fronts i think are 15x7 and rears 15x10. Can i use the rears? I thought i read somewhere around here of somebody using them but i am getting tired of looking for the topic, plus its getting late for me. I don't know the backspacing or anything else about them. I did bring the rear rim home to try to figure it out, they don't have tires on them so i am lost as what tire to use if i am able to use them. Would i need spacers? If anybody knows if i can use them or the link i would appreciate it. The rims came off a 69 Camaro and it looked sweet, plus the my car had original Centerlines on it back in 1996 before i got it. It was mean looking. The ones back then i think were 15x8 though.... Thanks

You might be refering to me. I just put 15x10 on the back of my Cutlass race car.

A 15x10 does fit, the back spacing has to be right on.

Every car is different, so you will have to try it and see.

Mine is a stock width 12 bolt so the rims have 6.5 backspace. I "think" 5.5 may work on the stock width Gbody rear.

When fitting, it is better to have too much bs, you can always move it off the rail with a spacer.

Tire are another issue. 275/60x15 seem to fit fine. The 10" rim will straighten the sidewall a bit which helps also.

Cool thanks. Is that a setup used more for drag racing? How would it handle on the street seeing as i don't really race except at stoplights? Or should i just pass up on the rims and keep on looking ? I half assed measured the backspacing and it measures about 3 and 7/8 give or take  i also mounted the rear rim and it seems to fit but the front of it lines up with the quarter panel. Will it rub?
