I like the American Racing 200s (daisies) a lot. I found a set semi-locally, 15x7 with correct bolt spacing & I asked for a backspace measurement. It's attached - it looks like 3-1/4". That seems weird... I think 3-3/4" is standard backspacing for these wheels, and I can't find any references to 3-1/4" even being available. I'm not missing anything here, am I? If they're truly 3-1/4", could these still work? I'm replacing 215/70R14's on stock steel wheels. 225 is the max recommended width on 7" wheels, so I'd get a little bigger & wider than what I have, if the backspacing is okay. Thoughts? Thanks...

They list a 15" x 6" rim with 3.26" backspace but assuming it is a 7" rim then I would say because it is an old rim they probably offered more B.S. options back when these were popular.

I've got 235/60r15s on my 15×7 wheels. Where did you see 225 is the max for 7in wide wheels?

Worst case scenario, a spacer could fix the backspace, would need longer studs, but that's not much of an issue, IMO.

Various places online, although I saw lots of people using larger without issues. I just asked the guy to measure the width... I wonder if he thinks he has 7" but actually has 6".

I would have him send you a picture with the measurement to verify, I would definitely pass if they are 6"
