i founf a set of gta rims on CL for $200 and ive allways liked the look of them so i was wondering if they would fit on my el camino, i have 15'' monte ss rims now but it has 2'' drop spindles. if anyone has a setup like this let me know. thanks

Yea I have a set on my Monte but I have all four front wheels so they have the same offset, I did have the set on there but I had to do spacers in the rear

The spacers I used were aluminum. Press-in studs. Very nice construction. Hub-centric.
They bolt to your car, and your wheel bolts to the spacer. These aren't like the thin slip-ons, the ones I had you would normally find being called adapters, because they can be drilled to let you change the wheel pattern. I have used a couple of sets, and as long as you torque them correctly, I don't see why there would be any problems.
These are the same TYPE construction of the ones I used. I am not recommending these particular ones in the auction, just using them as an example.
