I think it's a bad business investment. If you want a custom wheel you can have it machined for yourself, but there's just not enough proof that people who 'want' these rims would show up with cash when it was really game time - I think you'd find yourself with a room full of wheels sweating impossible deadlines and by the time it was all said and done you would either break even or have only made a couple thousand dollars for having invested a phenomenal ammount of phone calls/labor/ $$$.

These are what I have shown on my car rendering in my sig. They are in the same price range as the Billet SSIII's.
These look good! I love the white letter tires with them.

I'm down for a set, but by the looks of this thread, I don't think anyone else wants any.

I've seen SSI wheels in 17" sizes however they look just like the reproduction Chevelle SS ralley rims. I'm not up on the early wheels so maybe they are supposed to look like that. Haven't seen any SSII's.

Here's a few pictures of the billet SSIII's that Gary Willard was working on. I believe he had one set made as a prototype set but like I mentioned was never able to get enough people interested in buying a set to get the company to make a run of them.

They weren't cheap @ $800-$1000 per wheel but weren't too bad either when compared to other custom billet wheels.

This was one test fitted on Luke's '83 H/O.

Here's one compared to an original 15x7 wheel. I believe the red pinstripe on the billet wheel was added in photoshop:

You also have this option.

I think I remember hearing that. The first one set is always the most expensive because the research but I think it may be hard to sell because when you have the two side by the side the chrome finish on the OG ones looks better but like you said once you adjust to the bigger rims it looks nice
