17in spare tire

I need 2 rims with a 5x4.75 pattern, 17in + to roll the car on a trailer with. Anyone know off what car i can use a spare tire off of. I have front C5 brakes so i know ill need atleast a 17. I searched but couldn't find info but i remember reading a thread about this before.

You don't need the same size rim just to roll the project car onto the trailer. A 15 or 16 would be just fine. I've never seen a 5 on 17inch except 2500 / 3500 series silverado, but I believe it was a 5 and not a 4.75 so thats not going to work most likely. It's only essential to use the same size on all 4 corners for a 'uni-body' car like a cadillac sts, Having a wheel an inch or two less on one corner shouldn't damage your car at all - especially if your using a full trailer as opposed to a tow dolly.

Right but a 15 or 16in wheel wont clear the front brakes. I already have my wheels on the back so im not worried about them right now. If i remember correctly it was an 04 or so GTO spare that would clear the front.
