Hey guys and gals, this is my first post, hopefully it will help me along with helping others who find it as I looked for the answer for hours with no luck. I am going to run a 8.8 out of a 89 mustang that has a 5 lug swap, so since I have to order new wheels anyways, I'm not going to swap bolt patterns. The 8.8 I have is exactly 2" wider from backing plate to backing plate. I have found that a 17x8 up front with a 4.5 backspacing is what I should shoot for, but I need something for the back. I want to run a 17x8 in the back but I think the 5" backspacing would look odd with a smaller backspace in the front. So I would like to run a 17x10 on the rear but wondering if having a 5 or 5.5" backspace on a 10" wide wheel would put the wheel sticking out too far in the back. If anybody has any ideas I am all ears. Thanks!

I can help if you give me more info.

I need to know the total width from the rotor to rotor. That is the distance between the actual faces that the wheels will mount against.

The reason is there are different axle shaft lengths available.
