thinking of picking up some 18'' irocs for my 86 regal. The chrome is peeling on the rims so i'd just paint them a dark charcoal gray or maybe just glossy black. Are aftermarket irocs extremely heavy? What do you guys think for my car?

Perhaps you could test fit one of the wheels. It probably wouldn't look too bad with the 18" IROC wheels. I actually like the Vectors on your car now. But that's just my opinion. I think anything larger than 17's look kinda funky.

I think bigger wheels on Blacked out regals or GN's look cheesy. I love the wheels that are on it now as well 8)

I don't see any problems with it, other that the fact I don't like Irocz on anything other than a Chevy.

I think sticking with the Vectors is a good choice. They look right on the car. Besides, think of the money you're saving by not buying those 18" wheels, which you'd end up hating anyway.
again, it's a matter of opinion.

i know! aftermarket irocs are an overdone trend imo. Glad i didnt get them. They were being sold locally for $375 but chrome was corroding thats the only reason why I considered. Cuz i was going to refinish them with gunmetal paint with black in the inserts and aluminum caps. But I don't think they'd look right.
