Do you think this will work on the rear of a stock height 84 ss? Thinking of using 275/40/18 Nitto for the tires.

18 in. x 10 in., 5 x 4.75 in. Bolt Circle, 4.50 in. Backspace

Thanks, David

Rim will clear the frame, but fender lip is going to be an issue.
Section width is 11" and height is 4.5"

In theory.

I’m running a 17x11 with 315 tire. I’ve notched the frame about 1.5” and cut the lip down to 1/4” and have about 1/4” clearance on the inside and outside. It’s a custom width rear end but the wheels are the equivalent of a 6.5” backspace.

I read these threads & always want to remind whomever is asking the question that the only way to know is to measure your car.

Yes it's good to get feedback on what others have fit/done but as indicated here it depends on the car & what you're willing to do to make things fit. As far as the car.... ride height, rear end width (including how it's optioned), current dimensions, & any other mods done could all impact how things will work together.

Will an 18x10 fit under a g-body rear wheel well? Sure. What it takes to make it work under your car will depend on the actual car.
