As long as there aren't any major rust issues, then it could be a good buy. The car isn't totally unit body, there is a subframe at the front. If the rear unit body is solid, then unless you're building something really strong, a pair of subframe connectors should do the trick. Most of the '70-'81 F body suspension & brake stuff will interchange. Hope it works out OK for you.

Hp range that would be going in it would be in the 350 range so not anything huge and powerful. That is unless my 455 will fit
Your only issue would be the frame/engine mounts. they have a weird mounting system. It uses the same mounts as the firebird with the 403. So you'd be looking at pontiac firebird parts resources to get a Olds motor in it. You do know that the 455 has the same mounts as the 350s right? The only part that don't interchange between them is the intake. The heads do bolt on small block Olds but only the performer rpm intake will port match BBO heads.

Yeah i know they are the same mounts, what i ment was that i wonder if the extra deck height of the 455 would cause any issues with the valve covers hitting or the exhaust being a pain

Ok. No it would be the same exhaust manifolds or headers that fit the A body cars.

Guys words are its fixable.

that's what they all say.

Exactly! Well i went and looked at it yesterday. Forgot all about taking pictures of it but wasnt worth it anyway. Has been sitting LITERALLY since 1996. In dirt... Has sunk down where i couldnt look under it to see the floors. To make it worse the passengers side window has been down... Quarter panels behind the wheels were pretty much gone on the lower side. Interior wasnt all that bad but you can imagine what a tan interior looked like after having the window down like that. However i will give it credit that it didnt look that bad paint wise but id be lucky if it had floors or suspension left under the carpet after being down like that for so long

OK this is probably q shot in the dark but do you still talk to him I need some pieces for my 77 omega six how did the radiator support look I need one bad mines gone
