1978 1979 lemans

Im going to look at a lemans know very little about them I know it has some kind of grafix Down the side and a spoiler on the back it doesn't look like any lemans I have ever seen it is a78 or79 what would it be worth? Any help would be awsome thanks

It was in a dark garage I'm going to buy it when I get it home I'll post pics I have never seen one like it and the owner bought it new in 1979 black ,yellow and red stripes down the side spoiler,red interior, bench seat ,column shift black gauges,3.8 v6 , has the firebird on the hood

doesn't sound like any 78/79 Lemans I ever saw...could be dealer installed or aftermarket/custom.

I was thinking the same thing about it being a Grand Am...or like you suggested, a dealer installed package. Kinda like an '80 Malibu M-80. In either case, I'd like to see what it looks like.

It's a lemans I know that for sure, says that on front and back, the owner I can't wait to get it home....my wife is going to be pissed

These sound like owner installed options to me.
The VIN will tell you if its a Lemans.
The emblems don't tell you anything about the car.
Looking forward to seeing some pics too..
