I was discussing 1978-87 El Caminos with a friend and I said I much prefer the two headlight face over the four headlight face.
That got me thinking.
My old '78 Malibu was a 2 headlighter, as I believe all ECs and Malibus were in '78.
I've searched the 'net and found '79s with 2 as well as 4.
What years were they 2 headlights and what years were they 4?

Two or four head lghts?

I am building a Pro Street 1983 Nomad. Yup it`s a two door! Small block with a 671 blower. It has the stock four head lght fromt end. What I did was put a new high/low ligt in the outside openings and cut the inside openings to act as air scoops. I have a small B&M remote transmision cooler (compleate with a thromastat controlled fan) that I have installed behind one opening. I may do he same on the other side for an oil cooler. I`m taking extra steps due to a blower motor running hoter.

You know Bob I alway's wanted to do a wagon but could never find a two door like I wanted. They stick out in the crowd for sure! Cool choice of ride!
