Yes, that would be best. This is far beyond saving. Sad to say, it will probably be made into tin cans. Even if you could fix the roof, where would you get windows? The windows probably wouldn't even fit anymore. They may be rare, but they are out there. Have you thought about any other type of old car? Malibus are really common over in the Eastern Hemisphere. A lot of them were four doors though, used as taxis. Most had V6 and manual transmission.
Chevelle , camaro is on the list. Though finding even an old gen beetle is nxt to impossible here. Most of them are scrapped out and if any present, the owner is not selling. So these cars are really very rare. Importing them is impossible.

I mean if like you said importing parts was easy a lot of us could help
Yup importing part will be normal process but importing car is impossible as mentioned below and also in my second post.

What would it cost to import a whole car like that?
Can't give you a fixed no. But will come out to be almost 5 times initial value. But. There is a big but. Even after spending all this amount it is not possible to have it as custom declare it to be ill legal as per there rules.

Well going off that if you have a welder man that'll do you decent I'd say go for it. I know I could find stuff like the roof etc and ship over. Mebbe go a Lil custom on interior and run it stripped down with race bucket seats or something

Well as I said finding mechanic iz not a concern and nor does sheet metal work. Its just find parts which can't be replicated, which will come out to be alot in my case inside and out both. Thanks alot buddy for help. Really appreciated. Attached a video of a cutlass I dreamt mine to be. Basically goal is to get this but its impossible I know. Just love the interior on this though. Pure original beauty.

I can get a lot of parts for that cheaper than you'd think. And I've done a lot of work for college kids that came over from the mid east so they could prolly help me with the shipping. I actually have a few of the parts you'd need
