Thanks for the support. Ill try to be more frequent with updates. QS442 Ill look around while im working and think of things that are needed vs. things that could wait. ADentice I will keep that in mind. Ive already had some trouble locating a v8 fan shroud for the 78-80 body style. I personally enjoy working on this car because its easy and its different from what everyone my age is driving. Also In my personal opinion the Cutlass and GP's lives in the shadow of the Monte Carlo, El Camino, and Buick Grand National. I like to be with the Underdog and I prefer Oldsmobile.

Looks awesome, the 78-80's have to be at the top of my list (that's including the GN). Looks like a project, but you're making a lot more progress than me. Keep it up!

My 79 Cutlass came with a 305 and I removed my fan shroud to add electric fans. I can take pictures of it if you want it.

Yeah that'll help me out. I never thought to go with electric fans but I'll do some research on here and look into that.

ive neglected this thread but the cutlass is still making progress. I've moved up from the 307 to a 68-70 Olds 350 for another $200 just last month. I don't know about anyone else, but I learned my lesson that its easier to pull the trans with the engine when swapping, thought I'd do it differently this time. I've also replaced the steering column, steering shaft for the jeep one, finished my cluster job, installed the front radiator support bars, rear sway, did Jack D bottles for coolant and washer fluid, and primered the car a solid color and I'm currently working on some scrap cowl hood scoop I got from the junkyard for 10 bucks for S&G's.
