Hit the junk yard today early morning to step my game up on this LS1 camaro gbody disc brake set up!! It was a must!! Took off a 1998 camaro front caliper and rear, also got the backing plates.. Thanks to Jesse "Chevyholics" for getting his wrench on with me.. We ran into each other and he was all excited to wrench with the 80z crew  was fun!!

This may sounds stupid, but it was my first time removing axles and was super super super easy!! Thanks to Skip for all the vids and texting, if it wasent for him i probley would of pulled the wrong sh*t!! Jesse also pulled a set for him lmao, those were the only two camaros there with the set up.. I guess they really hard to find and he wasent going to pass them by 🙂

It was 50% off this weekend so we got them for $85 what u see in pics... All i need know is some blazer spindles/hubs/dust shelid, and of course got to go with the slotted/drilled rotor setup

Stay tuned, a slow brake set up, maybe by summer will have done..

I'll be checkin your brake build out, I need to upgrade mine. I'm still a ways off from it though, no dough.

Sweet thanks, i will try to post as it goes..

Today i cleaned wired brushed and alot of scrubbing the front and rear PAB brackets.. I also did the rear calipers and then painted them.. Im going for that light sliver and red!! Should really make them AR wheels pop 🙂 i also started wire brushing the front calipers, but will paint when its a warmer day.. I still need to get the kore 3 front brake kit to mount the braket and caliper to the blaser spindle set up.. Skip will send me the info on that Tomorrow so i can order that bracket also getting new brake lines and drilled slotted rotor for the setup..heres some pics.

Front calipers dirty as hell!! Takes alot of time to clean, but all worth it.. Needs more cleaning!!

It 1:15 am in morning and Ace Da Repp just left!! We talked and talked and was fun!!! I can tell u this, them 3.08's and posi really woke up the 200r4 transmission with the shift kit... The shifts are super solid and clean, take off is real good, im very happy with it.. I tried to burn rubber but was too late and didnt want to wake neighbors up lol , it did pick up both tires turned.. He also changed out my bearing with new ones to make sure there are no problems... Im happy with it and ready to go.. LOVE THAT SHIFT KIT!!!

Changed the oil pan gasket and installed the starter, Man oh man i love that starter and how quite it is!!

Of course i ran into some problems!! The aluminum oil pan didnt line up from the rear, the last two bolts were way off and the curve in the oil pan was way smaller than the stock oil pan  theres was a waste of $60 for pan and $25 for gasket  .....

Then i found out that the oil filter hole was too big and had to go back and buy another oil filter and gasket for the stock pan, $25 gasket and $8 filter.. Also found out that the 350 block i have is off a 92 chevy truck/denali or yukon.. Becuase the oil filter and oil pan gasket fit like a glove with those specs!! It was a pain in the *ss all day having to stop and having to drive to auto parts store after store!!! So i painted the stock oil pan and its all good, the only good thing out of this is no more leaks!! And a new mini starter

Goin to start prepping the brake set ul for paint, all next week off, so should have all done..
