Just finished installing 6.5 polk audio speakers into the rear quarter panels... it wasn't easy, i was hoping there would be a gap between the panel and the frame but had to saw a hole into the frame behind the panel... sounds amazing! I already have 6x9's in the back window and adding the speakers in the quarter panels really made a difference.

if you didnt want to drill a huge hole in your poor quarter panel, all you had to do is fab/glass up a retaining ring, angled towards the rear(better sound distribution  ),to late now :blam: (but thats what this badass forum is for homie!)ill pull up some pics from a couple of old cuttys, regals,mc's ive done this to in the past.nehoo sh*t looking right, keep the updates coming, and use the "search"feature,or ask, could save you b4 you decide to "boldly go where no man has gone before" 8)

Thanks for the advice brother, after looking at the pictures of the fiberglass panels i still felt like the speaker wouldn't of fit, the magnet is kinda big.. plus i didn't want to spend $60 hahaha...
