Hey everyone, I found a 1978 oldscutlass salon on the craigslist by me and I had a few questions about it, I think I would make a good build for a sleeper

1.I know it has alittle smaller wheelbase but, is the chassis and suspension set up the same as any other g-body?

2.would it be hard to put a bigger olds engine in it?

3.would a 8.5" rear end or a regular 7.5 rear end fit or would they be to wide?

Here is what the car looks like...

1. Chassis, suspension and wheelbase are the same as every other g-body.
2. A 307, 350 or 403 is a direct bolt-in. A 400, 425 or 455 will drop in with minor modification.
3. A GN 8.5" seems the most popular route, though they are getting up there in price.
