Your ride looks really neat. I have an 80 Elky I want to do the rat rod thing on too. Its a 355/4 speed. Runs great but drivers floor is gone and body has some rust but the frame is good. Unfortunately I started doing dialysis and can't hardly do anything so the Elky is just sitting. Hopefully I'll find someone in my area that I can pay to fix. Keep up the good work you're doing.

thanks man! when i got my elky 3 of the floors were all rusted out except the drivers one haha but i just cut them out and took a hand shear and cut certain places till i could bend it flat and them traced in on the sheet metal and cut it out and bent it up and bead rolled it for strength and tek screwed in in and then put some seam sealer on and they look great and it was really easy. just work at it a little at a time and you will have a nice ride.dicks80elky said:

thanks! i actually have a fake nos bottle that i made out of a fire extinguisher that i was going to put in but i was considering just getting a real one just for the purge. i love the look of it and a real nos bottle would be cool.-83MONTESS- said:
i finally got a decent hood from summit racing.except ups dicked it up when they dropped it off plus the guy left it by the street and faked my signature on the form so screw ups but anyways i got $120 off my hood cuz of it so im happy. i also got my new headlights in. let me know wacha think.
