when i pull my motor hopefully this week to change my oil pan ill try and snap you some pics of where i have my mounts bolted

Nice car. Black with red bucket seat interior? Nice combo. I love the center caps on the wheels. I remeber trying to find a set of those for an old malibu I used to have. They were impossible to find back then. I like the look of the original type ralley wheels. I wonder if wheel vintiques or someone makes them in a more modern 17" size? What you have looks like a a great starting point!

That car is freakin' sweet! I can't wait to see what you do to it.

sounds like a great project, comin up with a black car to begin with it great, looking forward to seeing progress

thanks, she needs tlc..she needs brakes all the way around, the guy who was fixing it up for his son, rigged up the brake lines with compression fittings which is illegal and unsafe.she needs a center link, wheel bearings.lol.

also i will have to replace the transmission crossmember.I was told these rotted out and the 1 on the car is welded together on the end by a bottom of a old bumper jack, lol.mine is the straight 1 and the other type looks like a candy cane?I have been unsucessful on tracking down another 1.

I am hoping my brother in law will do the body work one day....he does awesome work but he doesnt have a shop set up now

I forgot to say that picture is a few years old but she looks the same.

I will get more pictures up soon.as for the interior, it has factory auto floor shifter and buckets seats.the color is tan

as far as the exterior goes...I believe the orignal color was tan but i could be wrong.it has a patch panel in the trunk on 1 of the sides.

i had the car up a few times for sale on craigslist but its eather they tryed to low ball me or they just didnt show up....so I kinda think its after for me to keep this car.I bought the car for a grand of a ex "girl"friend of mine, lol

I am glad I found this site
