First let me introduce myself my name is Ruben I currently own a 1979 malibu which I purchased about 5 year's ago. The car is very clean the story I got was that it came from a guy that won the car in a casino in Wisconsin anyway it silver and I recently purchased a NOS clock on line and I need someone to test it and maybe if needed to rebuild the clock not sure we're to go with this any advice would truly appreciated.

The clock should be examined, have the movement cleaned if necessary and lubricated properly by someone that works on clocks. Then it should be good for many more years. I bought a wrecking yard clock 10 years ago for my Century and since my hobby was clock restoration, I serviced it and put in my Century. It is still running well today. One word of warning - NEVER ever spray WD-40 into any clock or on any clock movement ! Don't use it on sewing machines either.
