1980 Caballero Rear Chassis Rail rust

Hello everyone, new memebr here in Haymarket, VA.

My 1980 Caballero has badly rusted rear chassis rails, behind the rear wheel openings.

Does anyone know of a rear clip replacement that may be available for this vehicle.

The Caballero has the normal rear outer skin rust, and I am replacing these areas with new sheet metal, but cant seem to find a vendor that ahs rear chassis rail sections available.

well yer prolly gonna have to goto the junkyard and find one thats in good shape , cut and weld. i know the elky/cab is longer in the middle than the other gbodys, so you MIGHT get away with using the part from another gbody. thats just my thoughts but if you put up a pic or 5 i should have a better idea of what yer talking about.

Hey, I'm in Lovettsville, VA. The Elco has a different frame from other G-body cars - a 119" wheelbase instead of the 108" on the other G-body cars. Repro rear frame rails are available here:
