1980 lemans

Has any body ever remove the semi rag top on the lemans.and if was that had to be done i want my lemans to look like a coupe

I don't recall reading about anyone removing from a Lemans. Many Malibus have had them removed however and both cars share a lot of parts. There is even a sticky thread over on Malibu Racing on the subject. If you know whatever interior/exterior pieces that are different between the two cars and those that are the same, you can probably figure it out based on that thread. If you do it, take pictures and document it here, since we always like pictures!

Personally I would be torn, I like the coupe but with the right color on both the Landau top and the body it can also look sharp. Either way, I would definitely want to take the old one off and make sure there are no issues under there.

yea that does look quite extra good job by the way restoring the car in the manner that you are doing
