REPLACING MY STEERING IN 1980 MALIBU CLASSIC AND REPLACING IT WITH A 1985 MONTE CARLO COLUMN. ALL WIRE THAT PLUG IN HOOKED UP EXCEPT I HAVE ONE PLUG WITH FIVE WIRES ON IT AND HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY GO OR IF I EVEN NEED THEM. THE PLUG IS BLACK AND FLAT WITH A WHITE, GRAY, DRK GREEN, PURPLE, AND PINK ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I'M NOT YELLING, I ALWAYS TYPE IN CAPS MAKES IT EASIER FOR ME TO READ WILL POST A PIC LATER. WELL TRIED TO POST PICS BUT COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT.

You will need to find the matching connector under the dash, if I am thinking of the same connector it's for the turn signals/hazards/horn/key buzzer.

THANKS MR. JEFF, ACTUALLY THE PLUG IS WHITE BUT PLUGS INTO A BLACK PLUG. HOWEVER I STILL HAVE THE ISSUE OF 4 WIRES VERSES THREE FOR CRUISE CONTROL.
