My wife and I are privileged to be the third owners within our family of a 1980 Regal Limited. I would like to eliminated the rear bumper shock mounts and move the rear bumper closer to the body. This would, in my opinion make the rear of the car less bulky looking. My question to all of you good G body owners is, has any one done this and if so how did you accomplish this? I am open to any and all suggestions as this is my project car. It will be getting almost a complete makeover, new suspension, steering, LS engine, updated auto transmission, new complete interior, then to the body shop for body work and paint.
