Will the front and rear end off a GN or T-Type bolt on to a 1980 regal ?

Cant seem to find an answer anywhere and my knowledge in buick gbodies is poor.

From what i can see on pictures the rear from a GN wont match the fenders of a 78-81 regal. It has a slope that the GN doesnt! Maybe im wrong.

You can put a 84'-87' Regal/GN front end on an 81'-83' Regal but not on a 78'-80'.

Yeah, the 78-80 GM midsize cars are A- Bodies and are smaller than the 81-88 G Bodies. It's wishful thinking, but it's a no-go.

I thought all 78-88 A/G cars were the same size since they used the same frame?

Well, the bodies themselves are smaller. The frames from what I remember are the same.

The earlier G body frames lack the mounts for a 200r4 crossmember. GNs, use 200r4 trans.
